Machine taps ground onto a Weldon 19.05 mm shank so they drop straight into the magnetic drill spindle with no tap holder or arbor in between. Removing the adaptor stack shortens the tool overhead, improves concentricity and lets an operator switch from cutter to tap in seconds.
